Last weekend saw our BWFC girls head to Wales for the Anthony Hughs Tournament in Merthyr.

In the high temperatures the girls gave a great team performance with every outfield player getting on the score sheet! The team played 7 Games and got 6 wins and 1 loss with only ONE goal being conceded and scoring a total of 23 goals!

 Sadly, Birmingham narrowly missed out in the final to Boldmere by the only goal they conceded. 

All the games were played in the true Walking Football spirit…. making new memories & new friends on the day. 

A big shout out to Mandy Gornicki for a brilliant tournament & her tireless work for the Anthony Hughes cause and Velindre Cancer Centre. Congratulations to all.
