| NEW ENGLAND MENS OVER 50s MANAGER ANNOUNCED – We are pleased to announce the appointment of Lach Geddes as our new over 50’s manager replacing Paul Murtagh who has resigned due to his extensive family and business commitments. Lach is the successful player/manager of Weston Super- Mare and has been a loyal WFA volunteer for many years. Paul was appointed in 2017 and has created a superb squad of quality players who won the 2019 European Nations Cup and has won the vast majority of matches, losing only once in his 5 years of tenure. His firm but fun attitude will be missed by all his players and the WFA Board would like to thank him for all work and commitment in developing the elite side of Walking Football. Fortunately, Paul will continue as an executive director of the WFA and with his England Women’s management role. |
