Last Saturday the Parkinson’s Pioneers Women’s team held a training session at Solihull Football Centre followed by a match against fellow Parkinson’s suffers team Movers and Shakers. The weather threw everything at them, hailstones, heavy rain followed by glorious sunshine! The match was played with great spirit by both teams and was followed by a social in the bar.
Solihull Football Centre cater for those suffering with Parkinson’s Disease holding a walking football session every Monday at 10:30 am, please feel free to come and watch or join in this subsidised session funded by Solihull Parkinson’s.
