Early start for BWFC travelling to London playing in the Spurs foundation 5 a side tournament. First game against Watford B, ham became confident 7-1 winners, goals 3 from Mazic and four from Beer. 

Second game against Brentford was more challenging with a will to win, a couple scary moments a brilliant goalkeeping from Underwood settled the nerves. 8-1-win Mazic 4 goals, Beer 3 goals and a good finish from defender Purcell.

As the games were coming thick and fast BWFC, were being level-headed and raking each game as it came, the next challenge was Leyton Orient, a well drilled strong side. The game was very even, then in the 3rd minute Mazic nutmegs a defender a slot home a wonder goal, Beer then contributed by scoring a hattrick! Orient replied with a goal, B, ham then score a further 2 by Mazic and super goal from Beer in the last minute, ending up7-1 winners!

Birmingham head to the semis, with decent weather the spectators were enjoying the games. Next game Watford in the semis, after an earlier encounter were more determined to keep a clean sheet.  However, the dynamo duo Mazic and Beer had other ideas, with some brilliant one two’s Birmingham hit Watford with 3 goals in two minutes by Beer, this opened the game and Mazic continued his goal scoring tally with 2 goals. Underwood again showed why he is such a class act in some fine saves. Birmingham go to the finals against Leyton orient!

Orient took the early lead with Birmingham replying from a great goal scored by Beer. With misunderstanding between the defender Purcell and Underwood Orient score a second, with 20 seconds to go Beer slots a tap in to send the game into penalties. 3 penalties each beer and Mazic scoring theirs and Underwood saving meant Birmingham winners of the tournament!
